The flight from Velana International Airport (MLE) takes 40–45 minutes. All seaplanes depart from the dedicated domestic terminal, a short walk from international arrivals. The terminal is air-conditioned, spacious, and designed for seaplane operations; no more waiting on tarmac or in temporary tents.

JOALI operates its own lounge inside the terminal. The lounge is small but beautifully designed, with natural light, comfortable seating, and a full menu of drinks and light bites. Your Jadugar will escort you to a buggy, which will take you to your villa. The ride is short—usually a short walkand gives you your first glimpse of the resort’s lush greenery and overwater villas.

Upon arrival at your villa, your Jadugar will give you a quick tour and explain how everything works, from the iPad-controlled lighting to the minibar and coffee machine. They’ll also provide a welcome amenity, which might include fresh fruit, chocolates, or a bottle of sparkling wine. If you have any special requests—like a specific pillow type or dietary preferences—your Jadugar will take note and ensure everything is arranged for your stay.

The resort is designed for easy navigation. Bicycles are available for guests who prefer to explore on their own, and buggies are always on call if you’d rather ride.
