What this site is
Maldives Postcards is an independent travel concierge service operated by Fede Carnevale. The site provides editorial information about Maldives resorts and routes booking inquiries to Fede directly.
How bookings work
When you confirm a booking through Fede, the booking is held with the resort or wholesale partner. Payment is made directly to that partner (via secure payment link or bank transfer). Maldives Postcards is not the legal travel-services provider on the booking — that's the resort or partner.
Pricing
Quoted rates are firm only when explicitly confirmed in writing for a specific booking. Resort rates can change between an initial quote and a booking commitment. Fede will always confirm the final number before you commit.
Cancellations & changes
Each booking inherits the cancellation policy of the resort or wholesale partner. Fede shares the relevant policy at the time of booking and helps you action any change you need. Some bookings are fully refundable until a deadline; others are non-refundable from the start. Always confirm before paying.
Information accuracy
The editorial content on this site (resort reviews, atoll guides, transfer information, etc.) is sourced from Fede's personal experience and trusted Maldives travel publications. Travel facts shift — villa counts, transfer schedules, restaurant menus all change over time. The most reliable way to confirm anything before booking is to message Fede directly.
Liability
Maldives Postcards' role is to plan, advise, and book. We are not liable for events outside our control: airline disruptions, weather, force majeure, resort operational issues, or third-party service failures. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for every Maldives trip.
Who is the legal travel provider on my booking?
The resort or the wholesale partner who issues your confirmation. Fede acts as the planner and intermediary, not the legal travel-services provider.
Can the price change after I get a quote?
Until the booking is paid and confirmed, yes — resort rates can move. Fede always confirms the final figure before you commit.
Is travel insurance included?
No. Strongly recommend buying it separately.
