  • The lagoon around the island is gorgeous and incredibly swimmable, especially on the sandbank side where the water stays calm and shallow
  • House reef snorkeling has insane coral regrowth and is 10/10 almost all around the island. I
  • South Ari Atoll is one of the best regions in the Maldives for whale shark excursions, so definitely plan at least one marine trip during your stay
  • Drift works best if you actually want that relaxed barefoot-island feeling rather than a super polished luxury-resort atmosphere
  • The smaller island size gives the whole resort a much more intimate and peaceful vibe compared to the larger chain properties
  • For a 4-star resort, the level of privacy here is genuinely impressive and makes the island feel much more exclusive than the price suggests
