The resort is also more lifestyle-led than hushed and traditional. There is a stronger sense of design, dining, wellness and social energy than at some quieter ultra-luxury islands. Guests wanting total stillness may prefer a more isolated property.

The reef is also not the main reason to choose Patina. The lagoon and overall setting are OK, but clients travelling primarily for house-reef snorkelling should look at more marine-led resorts.
