The villas

The Den is the kids’ club, though calling it a club undersells it—it’s a two-storey play space with a pirate ship, a slide, and activities like dolphin cruises and guided snorkelling with the resident marine biologist. For adults, the astronomer leads stargazing sessions on the beach, and the spa offers treatments in private overwater rooms. Getting here

The most common route is a 75-minute seaplane from Malé. Soneva operates its own private seaplane, which is quieter and more comfortable than the commercial Manta Air option. If you’re combining with Soneva Fushi or Soneva Jani, the seaplane takes 40 or 30 minutes respectively. For a slower arrival, Soneva in Aqua, the brand’s private yacht, offers a full-day cruise from Soneva Fushi—perfect if you want to turn the transfer into an experience. There’s also a domestic flight option: fly from Malé to Kulhudhuffushi Airport, then take a one-hour speedboat to the resort.
