Daylight rules: timing your flight

Seaplanes only fly during daylight hours, which means your international flight needs to land in Malé by 15:30 to very likely a same-day transfer. The honest bit

No resort is perfect, and Vommuli has its quirks. The seaplane noise is noticeable if you’re staying in a beach villa near the dock. The resort is spread out, so you’ll rely on buggies to get around—something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues. The house reef is beautiful but not as vibrant as some of the reefs in Baa Atoll. Snorkelling is best done on a guided excursion to nearby sites. And while the food is excellent, the resort’s five restaurants can feel a bit spread out when you’re trying to decide where to eat.

The biggest challenge, though, is the transfer. Seaplanes are weather-dependent, and delays are common during the monsoon season (May to October).
