Visibility is usually 15–25 metres, and the Marine Discovery Centre runs complimentary guided snorkels twice a day. Expect blacktip reef sharks, parrotfish, and occasional turtles. If you’re lucky, you’ll spot a manta ray gliding past the jetty—November to March is peak season, but they’ve been seen year-round.

Transfer—how you’ll get here

All guests arrive by seaplane from Malé International Airport. The flight takes 35 minutes and offers a bird’s-eye view of the atolls—bring a window seat and a camera. Four Seasons operates two private aircraft: the Flying Triggerfish (8 seats, Picasso-inspired livery) and the Flying Boxfish (10 seats, black-and-yellow). Both are comfortable, with leather seats and earplugs provided for the engine noise. Seaplanes only fly during daylight, so your international flight should land in Malé by 3 p.m. At the latest. Upon arrival at Landaa, a speedboat whisks you from the seaplane dock to the resort jetty in two minutes.
