You need a passport valid for six months, a return or onward ticket, and a confirmed hotel reservation. The IMUGA form must be completed online before arrival.

No. Children under 18 travelling on their parents’ passports do not need a separate visa.

CAN I EXTEND MY 30-DAY VISA?

Yes. You can apply for an extension through the Maldives Immigration Department. The process is straightforward, but it’s best to start early.

WHAT IS THE IMUGA FORM?

The IMUGA form is an online Traveller Declaration required for entry and exit. It takes about five minutes to complete and must be submitted within 72 hours of your flight.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I FORGET TO FILL OUT THE IMUGA FORM?

You can fill it out at kiosks in the arrivals hall, but it’s faster to do it online before your flight. The form is mandatory for entry and exit.
