HURAWALHI ISLAND RESORT

Why Hurawalhi is perfect for a quote request

Hurawalhi ticks every box for couples who want a seamless, worry-free Maldives escape. It’s adults-only, so the vibe is calm and sophisticated. The all-inclusive plan covers meals at every restaurant, premium drinks, non-motorized water sports, daily yoga, and a long list of excursions—picnics on Dream Island sandbank, sunset dhoni cruises, even a private champagne breakfast in the underwater restaurant. That means you can focus on each other instead of spreadsheets.

The island is small—about 400 meters long—so everything is a short stroll away. The house reef is healthy and easily accessible; you’ll see turtles, reef sharks, and schools of colorful fish within minutes of slipping into the water. And because Hurawalhi is a medium-sized resort (ninety villas), it never feels crowded, even at full occupancy.

Works for honeymooners, anniversary couples, and solo travelers who just wanted to disconnect. They all come back saying the same thing: the service was attentive without being intrusive, the food was consistently excellent, and the underwater restaurant was the highlight of the trip.

What I need to build your custom quote

To give you an accurate quote, I’ll need a few details. These help me match you with the right villa, meal plan, and extras.

  • Travel dates: even in paradise, some weeks are busier than others. Let me know your preferred arrival and departure dates so I can check availability and seasonal rates.
  • Villa type: Hurawalhi has five categories—Ocean Pool Villas, Beach Sunset Pool Villas, Beach Pool Villas, Romantic Ocean Villas, and Ocean Villas. Each has a different view, size, and price point. I can walk you through the differences.
  • Meal plan: the all-inclusive plan is the most popular, but I can also quote half-board or bed-and-breakfast if you prefer.
  • Extras: want a private sandbank picnic, a couples’ spa package, or a sunset photography session? Let me know upfront so I can bundle everything into one quote.
  • Transfer preference: seaplane is the standard (forty minutes), but if you’re combining Hurawalhi with another resort, I can arrange a speedboat or domestic flight.

Once I have these, I’ll send you a detailed quote within twenty-four hours—usually faster. No hidden fees, no surprises. Just a clear breakdown of what’s included and what’s optional.

How to request your quote

The easiest way is to message me on WhatsApp at +1 (561) 955-0414. Send me the details above, and I’ll get back to you with a quote and a link to a secure booking page. If you’d rather email, use fede@maldivespostcards.com—just include the same information.

I don’t work with online travel sites, so you won’t find these rates on Booking.com or Expedia. That’s how I keep the prices competitive and the service personal. My goal is to make the booking process as smooth as the resort itself.

What happens after you request a quote

  • I’ll send you a custom quote with villa options, meal plans, and any extras you requested.
  • You review, ask questions, and let me know if you want to adjust anything.
  • Once you’re happy, I’ll send a secure payment link. A 25% deposit confirms your booking; the balance is due sixty days before arrival.
  • I’ll handle all the resort paperwork, transfer arrangements, and special requests. You’ll get a confirmation email with everything you need to know.
  • A week before you fly, I’ll check in to make sure your transfers are set and your villa preferences are noted. If you want a surprise in-room decoration or a special dinner, I’ll arrange it.

I’ve been visiting Hurawalhi since it opened, and I know the team well. That means I can often secure upgrades, early check-ins, or late check-outs at no extra cost. It's a property that makes a good trip great.

Frequently asked questions about quoting Hurawalhi

Here are the questions I get most often from clients who are considering Hurawalhi.

Is the all-inclusive plan really worth it?

For most couples, yes. The plan covers all meals, premium drinks, non-motorized water sports, daily yoga, and a long list of excursions. If you plan to eat at the underwater restaurant, order cocktails by the pool, and take a few snorkel trips, the all-inclusive plan saves you money and hassle. I can run the numbers for you based on your habits.

Can I visit 5.8 Undersea Restaurant without staying at Hurawalhi?

No. The restaurant is exclusive to Hurawalhi guests. It seats only ten tables, so it’s intimate by design. If you’re staying at a nearby resort, I can arrange a day visit to Hurawalhi that includes lunch or dinner at 5.8—just ask.

What’s the best villa for a honeymoon?

Fede recommends the Ocean Pool Villas, especially numbers 230–240. They’re at the quiet end of the jetty, have direct lagoon access, and the plunge pools are well suited to sunset dips. If you prefer beachfront, the Beach Sunset Pool Villas have the best sunset views and more privacy.

How far in advance should I book?

For peak season (December through March), book six to nine months ahead. For shoulder seasons (April–May, October–November), three to six months is usually enough. I can let you know how full the resort is for your dates.

Are there any blackout dates for the all-inclusive plan?

The resort occasionally has blackout dates around Christmas and New Year’s, but they’re rare. I’ll flag them when Good for your quote.

Can I combine Hurawalhi with another resort?

Yes. Many clients split their trip between Hurawalhi and Kudadoo, its sister property. Kudadoo is smaller (fifteen villas), fully solar-powered, and has its own all-inclusive concept. I can arrange a seamless transfer between the two.

What’s the cancellation policy?

Policies vary by season, but most bookings allow free cancellation up to sixty days before arrival. I’ll include the exact terms in your quote.

A note on accuracy. Travel facts shift — villa counts get added, restaurants reopen under new chefs, transfer schedules change with the seasons. We update this site as often as we can, but the fastest, most reliable way to confirm anything before booking is to message Fede on WhatsApp. He'll tell you what's true today, not what was true last year.
