What you’ll find at Hurawalhi

Lhaviyani Atoll is one of the Maldives’ quieter corners. The house reef starts a few strokes from the beach and drops into channels where turtles nap on coral heads. Inside the lagoon the water is so clear you can count the parrotfish from your villa deck.

The resort keeps around 90 villas—exact count varies with renovations—so it never feels crowded. Ocean Pool Villas come with private plunge pools and direct reef access; Beach Villas have outdoor showers and daybeds under palms. Most villas have a glass floor so you can watch the reef while you brush your teeth.

Dining beneath the waves

5.8 Undersea Restaurant is the only reason some guests book Hurawalhi. The restaurant sits 5.8 metres below sea level, wrapped in curved acrylic panels that make you feel like you’re inside a giant fishbowl. The menu changes daily but always includes Maldivian yellowfin tuna, lobster, and a chocolate dessert that arrives with dry ice so it looks like it’s steaming underwater.

Above water, three more restaurants cover everything from Japanese teppanyaki to poolside burgers. The all-inclusive package includes all meals and premium drinks, so you can order a Ruinart rosé at midnight without checking the price.

What to tell Fede when you message

To give you an accurate quote I need four things:

  • Travel dates—Hurawalhi’s rates shift with the seasons, so let me know if you’re flexible.
  • Villa type—Ocean Pool, Beach, or the two-bedroom suite if you’re travelling with friends.
  • Number of nights—minimum stay is usually four nights, but I can check shorter windows.
  • Any extras—private sandbank picnic, sunset dolphin cruise, or a dive package.

Once I have those details I’ll send you a WhatsApp message with a villa quote, transfer costs, and a list of what’s included in the all-inclusive rate. No hidden fees, no upsells—just the numbers so you can decide.

Transfers made simple

Most guests fly into Malé International Airport and take a 40-minute seaplane to Hurawalhi. The resort arranges the transfer; you just walk from arrivals to the seaplane terminal. If you’re already in the Maldives—say, coming from Kudadoo or another Lhaviyani property—you can hop on the resort’s private speedboat instead. The ride takes about 10 minutes and gives you a quick tour of the atoll’s turquoise channels.

Why message Fede instead of booking online

Online travel sites treat at most resorts the same. They don’t know that villa 235 has the best sunset view or that the house reef is liveliest in front of villas 2–5. I do. When you message me I’ll make sure you get the right villa, the right transfer window, and any perks the resort is offering that week—early check-in, a bottle of champagne, or a private sandbank lunch.

I also handle the paperwork. You’ll get a single invoice that covers your villa, seaplane, and all-inclusive meals. No surprise charges when you check out.

Next steps

Ready to start your quote? Open WhatsApp and message me at +1 (561) 955-0414. Tell me your dates, villa preference, and any extras you’re dreaming of. I’ll reply within a few hours with a clear breakdown—no jargon, no pressure.

If you’re still deciding between Hurawalhi and another resort, send me both names. I’ll compare the quotes side by side so you can see which one gives you more for your budget.

What’s the minimum stay at Hurawalhi?

Most of the year it’s four nights. —mid-December to early January—the minimum can stretch to seven nights. Message me your dates and I’ll confirm.

Is the underwater restaurant included in the all-inclusive rate?

No, 5.8 is an extra charge. The all-inclusive package covers the three overwater restaurants and premium drinks. I can add the underwater experience to your quote if you’d like.

Can I snorkel straight from my villa?

Yes. The house reef starts a few metres from the beach and wraps around the island. Ocean Pool Villas have steps directly into the lagoon.

What’s the best villa for a honeymoon?

Villa 235 is my usual pick—it’s an Ocean Pool Villa with a clear view of Dream Island and the best sunset spot on the island. If you prefer a beach setting, the Beach Villas at the northern tip are quieter.

How do I get from Malé to Hurawalhi?

A 40-minute seaplane transfer is the standard route. The resort books it for you; you just show up at the seaplane terminal after landing. If you’re already in Lhaviyani Atoll, a 10-minute speedboat ride is an option.

What’s the cancellation policy?

It depends on the season and how far in advance you book. I’ll include the exact terms in your quote so you know what to expect.

Do you offer any perks for guests who book through Maldives Postcards?

Yes. I often secure complimentary upgrades, early check-in, or a private sandbank picnic for clients who confirm their stay with me. Ask me about current offers when you message.

How do I know the details on this page are still accurate?

Resorts update villa counts, restaurant menus, and transfer schedules all the time. The best way to confirm anything is to message me on WhatsApp at +1 (561) 955-0414—I’ll check the latest information with the resort and send you a fresh quote.

A note on accuracy. Travel facts shift — villa counts get added, restaurants reopen under new chefs, transfer schedules change with the seasons. We update this site as often as we can, but the fastest, most reliable way to confirm anything before booking is to message Fede on WhatsApp. He'll tell you what's true today, not what was true last year.
