The Atmosphere Indulgence Plan—what’s inside

most guests at OZEN books the Atmosphere Indulgence Plan. It’s not an optional upgrade; it’s the way the resort works. The plan covers three broad categories: dining, drinks, and experiences.

Dining: more than buffets

Breakfast at The Palms is a champagne affair — cold cuts, imported cheeses, tropical fruit platters, and eggs any style. Lunch and dinner rotate through four restaurants: an international buffet, a South Asian kitchen, a Peking duck specialist, and M6m, the signature underwater restaurant six metres below sea level. The underwater room seats only fourteen, so you’ll need to reserve early, but the aquarium views of reef fish and occasional reef sharks make it worth the wait.

Drinks: premium brands, no asterisks

The plan includes a curated list of champagnes, whiskeys aged 15–18 years, and a full bar of branded spirits. Cocktails are made with the same liquors you’d find in a city hotel, not the well brands. Wine lovers will find over eighty Old and New World labels, so there’s always a bottle that pairs with the catch of the day.

Experiences: the real value

This is where OZEN pulls ahead of most all-inclusive resorts. The plan includes:

• Unlimited snorkelling excursions—daily boat trips to nearby reefs, not just the house reef.
• Complimentary use of non-motorised water sports: stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, and windsurfers.
• One adventure from the excursions menu (think dolphin cruises, sandbank picnics, or sunset fishing).
• A spa or scuba diving experience for stays of four to five nights; the credit increases with longer stays.

The spa credit is particularly smart. Book a 90-minute massage on day four and the bill is already covered. Stay a week and you can add a facial or a couples treatment without dipping into your own budget.

Snorkelling and diving—what to expect

OZEN doesn’t have a true house reef—its lagoon is sandy. Instead, the resort runs daily snorkelling excursions to nearby reefs. Boats leave every morning and afternoon, so you can choose between a gentle drift over coral gardens or a deeper site where turtles and rays are common. The excursions are unlimited, so you can go twice a day if the weather cooperates.

Diving is handled by a PADI 5-star centre on site. The all-inclusive plan includes one dive for every four nights you stay; additional dives are available at a supplement. South Male’ Atoll isn’t known for the same pelagic action as Ari Atoll, but the reefs are healthy and the visibility is reliably good. Expect reef sharks, moray eels, and schools of fusilier fish. For something different, the resort can arrange a night dive or a manta search during the right season—ask Fede for the current schedule.

Spa—treatments and credits

The ELE|NA spa sits at the island’s quiet northern tip, surrounded by palms and the sound of waves. The menu leans toward holistic therapies: Balinese massages, aromatherapy facials, and hot-stone rituals. The all-inclusive plan gives you a credit that scales with your stay—one treatment for four nights, two for seven, and so on. The credit is enough to cover a full 90-minute session, so you can choose a signature massage or split it between a facial and a manicure.

Couples who want privacy can book the overwater spa villa. It’s not included in the plan, but the credit can be applied toward the treatment portion of the bill.

Water sports—motorised and otherwise

Non-motorised water sports are free and unlimited: kayaks, paddle boards, and windsurfers are lined up at the jetty each morning. The resort also offers introductory windsurfing lessons—useful if you’ve never tried it before.

Motorised sports—jet skis, banana boats, and parasailing—are available at an extra charge. The same goes for deep-sea fishing charters and private yacht days. Excursions—what’s included and what’s extra

The all-inclusive plan includes one excursion from the resort’s menu. Options typically include:

• Sunset fishing trip—handline fishing from a dhoni, followed by a beachside barbecue of your catch.
• Sandbank picnic—private stretch of sand, lunch, and snorkelling gear.
• Dolphin cruise—evening search for spinner dolphins, often with a champagne toast on deck.
• Island hopping—visit a local island or a neighbouring resort for lunch and a cultural stop.

Additional excursions are charged separately. If you want to do two or three, ask Fede to bundle them into your booking—sometimes the resort offers a discount for multiple outings.

Kids and families—what’s on offer
