You’ll take a 30-minute domestic flight to Dhaalu Airport, then a 20-minute speedboat ride to the island. The whole journey takes less than two hours, door to door, and the speedboat ride is smooth, with plenty of time to take in the turquoise waters and tiny sandbanks along the way. If you’re travelling with kids or a lot of luggage, the short transfer is a godsend—no long boat rides or multiple connections. And because Dhaalu Atoll is less crowded than some of the more famous atolls, you’ll often have the reefs and sandbanks to yourself.
