Kudadoo’s fifteen villas are split into two categories: thirteen one-bedroom Ocean Residences (300 square metres) and two two-bedroom Ocean Residences (380 square metres). Most villas sits on stilts above the lagoon, connected by a short jetty to the main island. The design is clean and contemporary—natural woods, earthy tones, and floor-to-ceiling glass that dissolves the boundary between indoors and out.

The outdoor deck is where most guests spend their time. It wraps around the villa, offering multiple lounging areas, a dining table, and a hanging sofa that swings gently over the water. The 44-square-metre infinity pool is the centrepiece, shallow enough to stand in but long enough for a proper swim. Below the deck, a glass-bottomed section lets you watch fish dart beneath your feet without getting wet.

Inside, the layout is open and airy. The bedroom features a king-size bed with panoramic ocean views, while the bathroom includes a freestanding bathtub, double vanity, and separate shower. There’s no separate living room—just a comfortable lounge area that flows seamlessly into the deck. For families or groups, the two-bedroom villas offer the same luxury with an extra bedroom and enough space for four adults.

Who each villa is best for

Good for honeymooners to the one-bedroom villas, particularly numbers 2 through 8. These face the open ocean and catch the best sunset views. The glass-bottomed section is well suited to morning coffee while watching turtles glide beneath you. For families or multi-generational groups, the two-bedroom villas are ideal—spacious enough for privacy but intimate enough to feel like a shared retreat.

If you’re travelling with staff or nannies, Kudadoo also offers separate villas for accompanying personnel. These are simple but comfortable, ensuring everyone has their own space without compromising the island’s exclusivity.

Choosing the right villa for your stay

Villas 2 through 8 are the most sought-after. They face the open ocean, offering unobstructed sunset views and the best snorkelling spots. Villa 8, in particular, is a favourite for its position at the island’s edge, where the reef drops off into deeper water. Villas 9 through 15 face the nearby island of Hinnavaru, which means slightly less privacy but still open ocean views.

For families, the two-bedroom villas are the obvious choice. They offer the same luxury as the one-bedroom options but with an extra bedroom and a larger deck. The layout is flexible, with a glass dining table that seats four and a lounging area big enough for everyone to relax together.
